Season 9, Episode 13 “Bob, Bath and Beyond”

It’s Valentine’s Day with the Belcher’s once again. However, this time, Bob and Linda are fighting. As in most relationships, Bob and Linda are arguing about clothes left on the floor. They attempt to take the kids to a romantic comedy as a Valentine’s celebration, but when the movie is rudely interrupted, they must return home. The kids become worried about their parent’s argument and decide to make up endings to the film, subtly encouraging their parents to forgive each other and return to their healthy, loving relationship. The movie is a spoof of Notting Hill, but each of the kids has a unique take. Tina touches on the titanic, Gene touches on Speed, and Louise references Sharknado. The kids’ attempts are successful, and Bob and Linda realize how silly their fight has been. This episode is charming. I love it when the kids get to tell their own stories and that the vignettes allow for different parodies to occur. I recommend this episode for your Valentine’s Day enjoyment.
