“The One with the Football” Season 3, Episode 9

This is my favorite Thanksgiving episode of Friends, maybe one of my favorite episodes, period. The group is waiting for the turkey to cook, so they decide to play football together. The competition is less than friendly as Monica and Ross take their sibling rivalry too far. Meanwhile, Rachel and Phoebe have never played before and are just having a good time, but Rachel is really, really bad and neither team wants her. This episode doesn’t feature all that much thanksgiving food or the parade, but it does feature another American thanksgiving tradition: football. This episode is funny, light, and there are leaves everywhere, so that’s definitely enough to get you in the autumn spirit. I definitely recommend checking this out if you’re looking to get ready for Thanksgiving.
