“The One With All the Thanksgivings” Season 5, Episode 8

Okay, I think I previously wrote that The One With the Football is my favorite Thanksgiving episode… that was incorrect, this one is. This is the best friends Thanksgiving episode by far, because it features not only the present holiday, but also flashbacks to other thanksgivings the group has experienced. They are talking about their worst thanksgivings and Rachel forces Monica to reveal that hers were 1. the first thanksgiving she met chandler where he called her fat, and 2. the one the following year where she tries to get revenge on him and accidentally cuts off his toe. This is one of the best Monica and Chandler episodes (and they kick Ross and Rachel’s ass as a couple) and it’s full of thanksgiving imagery and food. I think this should be on every thanksgiving watchlist (if people have such a thing).
