Gilmore Girls: Summer

"Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days" Season 3, Episode 1
In the season 3 premiere, Rory is returning from an internship in Washington and is forced to face her feelings for both Dean and Jess, while Lorelai is figuring out how to move on after Christopher ends their short-lived relationship. While most of Gilmore Girls is set in fall and winter, this season opens on Stars Hollow's End of Summer Festival. It is full of carnival games, flowers, music and food. While the episode is more plot focused, it has a nice summer setting that we rarely get to see from the show, which is perhaps why it is so memorable. I don’t know that this episode is summery enough for it to be worth it for someone who has never seen the show, but for fans this can be a great way to kick off the summer. Not to mention that the title song will be stuck in your head for days.
