Piranha 3D (2010): Spring Break

Ohhh Piranha. So this is loosely based on the Piranha movie from the '70s which was a spoof of Jaws. In the '70s Jaws spawned an onslaught of wild animal movies, most not too good. Piranha was amongst the better ones, which Spielberg himself even admitted. This remake stars a fairly big-name cast and honestly, is campy B-movie fun. The CGI is pretty awful, the acting is good, I mean, this movie is definitely comedic. Side note, I love Adam Scott in horror comedies. But there's gore and a basic premise. Plus tons of shots of spring break partiers, clad in swimsuits and loaded with booze. If you love campy horror and want to be afraid of lakes for the summer, definitely check this one out.
