The First Time (2012): Back to School

At least it's better than The Kissing Booth. This film follows two high school students who are learning about love and sex for the first time. They are both pining after different people, but the chemistry between them is undeniable. This movie is a cheesy high school romance film about first loves. So this movie isn't anything great it isn't anything terrible, but if you're dreaming about a back to school romance, this is the film for you. It won't get you in the mood for anything academic, but its definitely got its place as a back to school movie. My biggest complaint about the movie is the whole "I'm not like other girls, I need to get out of this town" angsty girl thing has been done before, but Britt Robertson is charming enough to not be loathsome. If you're in the mood for a high school rom-com thats slightly better than the rest, this is the movie for you.
