The Kings of Summer (2013): Summer

So this movie follows three boys living out every angsty teen’s dream about running away and living on their own. Three friends build a home in the forest and decide to live on their own. Rather predictably, the freedom is fun at first but they begin to face problems they can’t handle and their paradise falls apart. This movie is a sweet, coming-of-age comedy, nothing more nothing less. It’s heartwarming and will make you want to run around the woods like a wild animal. It makes you long for summers free of responsibility and full of adventures, which isn’t something you get to have as an adult. This movie is a little break from reality.
