The Baby-Sitters Club (1995)

The Baby-Sitters Club (1995)

This show follows the girls who make up the baby-sitters club, a group a teenagers who watch the local kids for their parents. School is out and the girls are looking for way to keep their business running while still spending time together. They decide to run a day camp for kids, however, it’s harder than they first expect. Each girl is dealing with their own personal issues throughout the course of the film.

This movie is super nostalgic for me, as a 90’s kid, the fashion and innocence of this movie reminds me of simpler times. I also remember the magic of a 90’s summer. So for me this movie is super summery, but for people who did not grow up around this time it might be slightly less so. I still think that the summer camp and 90’s shorts make this a fun summer watch for anyone looking to relive their childhood for a little bit.

I will say that there are definitely some parts of this movie that haven’t aged great. Like a 17-year-old dating a 13-year-old. And a Cowboys and Indians dress-up moment.
