Dazed and Confused (1993): Summer

Want to watch a bunch of 70's teens fuck around for an hour and 42 minutes? Well look no further. Despite being a simple concept and having nothing really noteworthy happen, it's an enjoyable film. It's one of those movies that's more a vibe than a story, and it captures its vibe perfectly. It's the last day of school before summer and the teens of the town are going wild. There's beer, weed, and lots of teenaged angst. I think this movie captures the spirit of a high school summer so much because there isn't much happening and that's realistic. That's what a lot of real life is, lame conversations between friends. This movie will make you long for summers you never had, laid back and listening to rock with your best friends.
