The Simpsons: St. Patrick's Day

"Homer vs the 18th Amendment" Season 8, Episode 18
So, as far as St. Patrick's Day episodes go, this is a great one. As I've said before, there aren't too many St. Patty's episodes to choose from, so when you find a good one, you hold onto it. In this episode, Springfield is celebrating the holiday with drunkenness and parades. When Bart accidentally gets drunk, people begin to push for prohibition, only to find out there has been an anti-alcohol law on the books the entire time. This leads to underground speakeasies. The mayor brings in a strict Rex Banner to take over the police department and enforce the alcohol ban. Meanwhile, Homer begins bootlegging. This episode is funny, in the spirit of the holiday, and definitely worth watching. I recommend checking this out if you are looking for some quality St Patrick's Day entertainment.
