Gilmore Girls: Spring Break

"Girls in Bikinis, Boys Doin the Twist" Season 4, Episode 17

While this episode isn't set in summer, it's set during spring break, which basically has the same feeling as summer. Rory and Paris head down to the beach and find themselves very uncomfortable in the party environment. As they try to fit in and have some new experiences (getting drunk, among other things) they begin to realize they don't fit in and yearn for home. They are not part of the party crowd, and would rather be vegging out in their motel room. This episode always makes get in the spring break party mood. There are some great beach scenes as well as an awesome appearance from The Shins. I definitely recommend watching this episode if you'd rather watch spring break from the sofa.
