"Treehouse of Horror II" Season 3, Episode 7

Alright, number 2. In this episode the three stories are tied together as nightmare. When the family gets home from trick or treating Marge warns them that rating too much candy will give them nightmares. They ignore her and the frights begin. This episode contains Lisa, Bart, and Homer's nightmares. In Lisa's Nightmare Homer buys a magic monkey paw that grants wishes, ignoring the sellers warning that the wishes will not turn out the way they expect. Bart is the next one to have a nightmare. He dreams that he is all powerful and turns his father into a jack-in-the-box. Marge isn't happy with his behavior and suggests they see the doctor, who theorizes that Bart needs more paternal attention. In Homer's nightmare, Mr. Burns removes Homer's brain and implants it in a robot in hopes of replacing human workers. However, the robe-homer is just as lazy as regular Homer. This episode is fun, but still not one of my favorites. It is however perfect for Halloween, and I think quite frankly that every Treehouse of Horror episode is a can't-miss special.
