Spongebob Squarepants: Halloween

“Scaredy Pants” Season 1, Episode 13a

I adore this episode. Spongebob Scaredypants is a spooky classic from this children’s show. It’s from the first season of SpongeBob and it reminds me of my childhood. I hate to be one of those people, but this is back when SpongeBob was still good, nothing that it comes out with will ever top this. In this episode, SpongeBob is tired of being known as a scaredy sponge on Halloween, and he decides he’s going to dress up scary and scare everyone at the Krusty Krab Halloween party. While he fails at first, he ends up succeeding, but not in the way he intended. This episode is great because it’s full of costumes and theme music and ghosts. It’s also when Patrick was dumb, but not painfully so. I can’t recommend it enough. This episode is available on the Nicktoons Halloween DVD which features some great Halloween episodes from all the classic Nicktoons.
