ParaNorman (2012): Halloween

Norman is a young boy who can see and speak to the dead. He is isolated from the town and his family thinks he is weird. His best friend is the only one who believes him and doesn't see him as weird. Norman has a vision of a witch hunt in the past, realizing that the witch was actually a child medium like himself. When ghosts start overtaking the town, Norman must use his skills to put the dead to rest and save the living. This movie is a classic Laika film, it's got their classic creepy style and they aren't afraid to let children explore darker themes. This movie is creepy and funny and is absolutely perfect for Halloween. It's spooky and great and I can't recommend it enough. It's the perfect movie to get any adult or child ready for the best time of the year.
