Parks and Recreation: Christmas

"Citizen Knope" Season 4, Episode 10

The second Christmas episode of Parks and Rec is filled with lots of gift giving and holiday cheer. Leslie is serving her two week suspension from her job due to her affair with Ben. She learns that her campaign managers will no longer be running her campaign for city council as her approval rating has dropped. Leslie forms a citizens action group during her time off as a way to stay involved in the parks department. The really Christmassy storyline follows the rest of the parks department building Leslie a gingerbread replica of the office, as a way to repay her for always finding them the perfect gifts. It's sweet (literally and figuratively) and definitely encapsulates the spirit of giving that comes along with Christmas. I definitely recommend checking this episode out to get yourself ready for the most wonderful time of the year.
