“The Best Christmas Episode Never Told” Season 2, Episode 9

Stan is excited to celebrate Christmas with his family, but begins to be a very sensitive snowflake when people begin to say “happy holidays” to him. The horror. When he begins to throw a grown man tantrum, the ghost of Christmas past shows up to attempt to remind him of the true meaning of Christmas, he decides he needs to assassinate Jane Fonda in order to stop her humanitarian work and reinforce his conservative views. Of course, as in most time travel stories (for example, it’s a wonderful life) Stan makes a change that messes up the future and he has to fix it in order to get himself back to the present he remembers. This episode is full of holiday joy, Christmas imagery, and good jokes. I definitely recommend throwing this on your holiday watch list. It also contains a great guest appearance from Lisa Kudrow which is always enjoyable.
