One Tree Hill: Back to School

"Pilot" Season 1, Episode 1

Is there any other show as quintessentially 2000's drama as One Tree Hill? I'll answer that for you, the answer is no. I remember how big the hype was when this show aired, but I weirdly didn't get into it until recently. I had a college roommate who was obsessed with this show so I had seen episodes here and there but never watched the whole show. But now, 14 years later, I have to say this is a perfect back to school teen drama. Remember back when a teen drama didn't have to be a murder mystery? (I'm looking at you Riverdale). If you're in the mood for nostalgia or just an over the top teen drama I'd say this is a must watch for back to school. It is set in a North Carolina high school and revolves around the basketball team and cheerleaders and their ups and downs in their relationships. There's also a smattering of family drama. Definitely check it out and pray your school year isn't this dramatic. And if you like the pilot, go ahead and watch the rest of the show! The whole thing isn't set in high school, but the first few season are.
