Mean Girls (2004): Back to School

When this movie came out I told my mom that I thought this would become a classic film of the time. She literally laughed out loud at me, but 13 years later guess who's laughing now. Anyone who was in, I'd say middle school through maybe college, definitely high school  in 2004 has seen this movie at least once. Most people in that group also love this movie. I'm not saying I'm a basic bitch, but I do watch this movie every October 3rd. This is a classic high school movie and addresses a lot of the struggles girls faced at the time, especially bullying.  It follows Cady as she starts at her new American high school after moving from Africa. She starts to learn about different social circles and stereotypes and struggles to figure out where she fits in. This film is a can't miss in any back to school lineup, it will always be relevant.
