Gilmore Girls: Valentine's Day

Season 6, Episode 15 “A Vineyard Valentine”

One couple is on the rocks, one is heating up, but Valentine's Day with the Gilmore girls is sure to be interesting. Luke and Lorelai have postponed their wedding and they are feeling less than romantic on valentine's day. Rory and Logan invite them out to Logan's family's house in Martha's Vineyard for the weekend. Lorelai's hopes of a lovely weekend are dashed by Luke's grumpy attitude. This episode comes from one of my least favorite season and is definitely not the best the show has to offer. It is however, a great Valentine's Day episode. Sure it isn't the most romantic, paper heart filled episode, but it captures the complexities of relationships and shows that just because it's Valentine's Day doesn't mean everything will be perfect. I definitely recommend checking this episode out, although if you've never seen the show the relationship dramas may be tough to follow.
