The Mindy Project: Thanksgiving

It’s thanksgiving and since Mindy’s boyfriend Josh is away, she spends the day with her best friend Gwen’s family and brings Morgan along to do the cooking. She’s surprised to encounter a past date, Dennis, so of course she has to make it weird. The second storyline follows Jeremy, who joins Betsey on her trip home to the midwest for Thanksgiving with her dorky family who treats her like she is still a child. This is the first episode I ever saw of this wonderful, wonderful show. It’s funny, especially the bits with Jeremy and Betsey, as his British charm definitely clashes with her midwestern family’s style and its fun watching him try to fit in. This episode is great because you don’t need all that much information about the show, as it is one of the early episodes, to enjoy it. I definitely recommend checking it out this holiday season, it’s a solid thanksgiving episode.
