The Middle: Thanksgiving
November 8, 2016
"Thanksgiving" Season 1, Episode 8
I don't watch this show any time other than the holidays, but they honestly have really great holiday episodes. They're usually simple concepts and revolve around the weird feeling of wanting to be with your family and hating them at the same time. The decorations are always festive and it reminds me of my family holidays . In this episode, Frankie finds out the car dealership where she works is going to be open 365 days a year from now on. She begs her boss to let her have off, but he forces her to pick a shift. She realizes she isn't going to have enough time to do everything she needs to do to get dinner ready so she decides to cancel Thanksgiving. Predictably, the family pulls it together and surprises her with a nice dinner. It's cute, it's cheesy, I like it.
