Gilmore Girls: Summer
June 23, 2017
This episode follows another episode I reviewed (Sadie, Sadie). Rory is signing up for summer classes and realizes that she may not have enough volunteer experience to get into Harvard, so she begins frantically looking for charities to work for over the summer. This upsets Dean, because he was looking forward to spending time with her once school let out. Meanwhile, the whole town is excited for Lorelei and Max's wedding, but Emily doesn't give much of a reaction, which upsets Lorelei. Lane also prepares to leave for Korea for the summer. This episode takes place at the start of summer and contains lots of discussions of summer plans, however aside from the actual time during which it is set, there is not much summery imagery or feel. This is probably one to watch if you like the show, but otherwise, you can probably skip it.
