Sharknado (2013): Shark Week

Shark Week 2017 is roughly a week away so I figured why not review a bunch of shark movies to break up the summer reviews! So, as most people know, Sharknado is the B-movie that sent people into a frenzy. I don't know if people were unaware of all the B level animal horror movies Syfy had been putting out, but for some reason this movie made people lose their minds. Perhaps it's because this is the first one where Syfy was really like, fuck it, steer into the skid and make a hilarious shark movie. I honestly prefer a lot of B shark movies to this movie, but it's still fun. The premise is basically what the title says, tornadoes lift sharks out of the sea and flood them onto the land where they proceed to eat people. The CGI is AWFUL, the acting is bad even for a Syfy movie, but it's such a silly premise that you have to enjoy it. This one will definitely get you ready for Shark Week, and summer.
