New Years Evil (1980): New Years Eve

It's the end of another year, and I for one cannot believe 2018 is over already. As we look forward to 2019, let us enjoy a look back at the year 1980 with this bizarre slasher that is so weird it shoots the moon and ends up awesome. It's so hard to even describe this movie without sounding like I'm making it up. So this famous rock queen who is hosting a televised New Years eve count down keeps getting calls from a spree killer who is killing someone in every time zone at midnight and making his way across the country to kill her once its midnight on the west coast. There's a race to keep her safe and also a weird subplot about her adult son feeling neglected. This is all tied together with literal full length TERRIBLE musical numbers. I definitely recommend checking it out for some New Years eve fun, it will definitely give you a laugh if nothing else.
