Jess begins to face the fact that she is developing feelings for her friend with benefits, Sam, after seeing him at work as a pediatrician. Meanwhile Nick reunites with a girl he had a crush on in college. At the same time, Winston realizes his relationship with Shelly may not really be going anywhere and Schmidt struggles with the fact that Cece is dating Robby. This episode is an important one for a lot of character relationships but it is also full of Halloween fun! There's tons of costumes and a Halloween carnival and haunted house. It's a fun episode to get you in the spirit of Halloween, but if you are not familiar with the show, you may not want to watch this as a first one.
