"Epidemiology" Season 2, Episode 6

This episode follows the study group as they celebrate Halloween at a campus party. Some of the food is spoiled, and students begin to exhibit flu-like symptoms. Seems like a typical case of food poisoning… or maybe something more sinister is happening. Despite appearing to have food poisoning, the students soon begin to act like zombies, biting and infecting each other. Panic ensues, and everyone scrambles to avoid being infected as well. (Update for 2020: this episode is probably a little touchy for some people given the pandemic, but if it isn’t taken too seriously, it still makes for a great zombie spoof.) This episode is a hilarious parody of zombie movies and definitely evokes a feel of Halloween. The staggering students and group panic that takes over the campus is a great way to spoof a zombie film in the most unlikely of places. Also, the entire episode is backed by a soundtrack of ABBA songs, and I mean, that's pretty much up there with Bob's Burgers’ Donna Summer episode as far as amazing soundtracks go. I think this is a fun way to get a zombie comedy in a neat, 22 minutes package. I recommend it!
