Season 2, Episode 16 “Twas the Day Before Christmas/Jingle Boo/The Great Wakkorotti: The Holiday Concert/Toy Shop Terror/Yakko’s Universe”

Ready for some holiday short overload? This episode is full of it. It starts out with a song from the Warner Siblings about slipping on the ice. We move along to Slappy doing an Animaniacs version of Twas the Night Before Christmas, featuring all our favorite characters. We then have a christmas themed good idea/bad idea. Up next is my favorite bit in the show… Chicken Boo. Chicken Boo is dressed up as a mall Santa, and only one boy recognizes that he is in fact, a giant chicken. However, he’s quickly discovered and kicked out. He does get a happy ending in the spirit of christmas. Following Chicken Boo is Wakko performing Jingle Bells in burps. You know, it’s probably the weakest of the vignettes but it’s fine. We then experience another good idea/bad idea. In the Toy Shop Terror bit, the Warners go fucking wild in a toy store and accidentally bring to life a toy robot, which they must then stop from terrorizing them. This is a dialogue free bit, but it’s really fun. And lastly, we wrap it up with we have a Christmas version of the classic song about how small we are in comparison to the universe. This episode is packed with christmas imagery and is a great way to get kids (or nostalgic adults) in the christmas mood!
