Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Back to School
August 22, 2017
Now I want to start off my review by saying that I'm totally not biased or anything, but I am writing this while wearing my Sunnydale High School sweatshirt. This is one of the best shows of all time in my opinion, and what better way to get ready to head back to school than to head back with the slayer. In this episode, Buffy is starting at a new school (Sunnydale High School) due to being expelled from her last school. She's worried about making new friends and doing well in her classes, while still slaying vampires. However, she now has the help of her appointed Watcher, the wonderful Giles, and her two new friends Willow and Xander. Honestly, this whole first season really sees Buffy juggling the struggles of high school... in addition to the whole slaying demons thing. I think this show is a great way to start off the school year and take you into fall, especially for Halloween as there are some creepy ass demons in this show (aka the Gentlemen).
